Perfume is a mixture of essential oils and aroma compounds that are combined together to give the body, things and living spaces a pleasant smell. Perfume is also deeply associated with sensuality and romance in some cultures. There are two classes of fragrances associated with perfume, traditional and modern. The traditional scents are Single Floral and Floral Bouquets, Ambery, Woody, Leather, Chypre and Fougere. The modern scents are Bright Floral, Green, Oceanic and Ozone and Citrus and Fruity. You can tell the different scents when you smell certain types of perfumes.
There are such timeless classics such as Chanel No 5, Ambush and Shalimar. But today even celebrities are getting into the picture, Jennifer Lopez has Glow, Britney Spears has Curious and Fantasy, Elizabeth Taylor has White Diamonds, Hillary Duff has With Love, Shania Twain has Shania and Celine Dion has Celine. There are other celebrities coming out with their own, Sean Combs, Paris Hilton, Marilyn Manson and Beyonce to name a few.
Most women when they look for a perfume they don’t want something heavy they are looking for something light and floral or fruity. Something that other people won’t complain about. These days celebrity perfumes outsell those that aren’t made for celebrities. These perfumes can be found anyplace, Wal-Mart, Macy’s, Walgreens, Rite Aid and perfume kiosks in your local mall.
Some perfumes are reasonably priced but some celebrity perfumes cost more than others. When buying perfume, don’t go by the celebrity it may cost you more money than you want to spend.
